I think this is an ideal Time for Tom to start a new thread entitled 'British and Commonwealth tool manufacturers and markings' ;D RECo to start the ball rolling on the Aussie ones

OMG Tom! Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Ahem, actually maybe this means he doesn't know..? ;D ;D Anyway, mine is A&S 1939 marked. The little copper head has an arrow, thats all. TTFN Matt

Strictly speaking I'm into types, designs and varriations. Makers etc well it's never turned me on the same way.
I'm pretty sure theres no major variations with the Mk I tool...
However
I do have a rather nice set of docs relating to the Mk II tool and there are some different types of those...
