I'm just finishing off a couple of pages on Bren slings, before I sign it off, does anyone have any unusual ones that would be worth illustrating?
I'll post what I have tomorrow.

Dear Lord! And to think about 3 years back I was getting minters from Parkers for £3 quid a pop (And now am kicking myself for only keeping two!). Hooks were 50p each.
Is it just me or does that sling look pinched as it fits round those strange looking clips, as is the clips are for 1" straps rather than, what is it for rifle slings a inch and a quarter?, inch and a eighth?
Platoon at Bury did have a couple of new long slings for 15 quid a pop last time I was in.

I don't know if I've mentioned this before but on page 22 of Brayleys "British Web Equipment" theres a Bren gun No. 1 , Holland 1944, with a 2 x rifle sling "Firemans grip" sling fitted to a Mk II bipod and butt without any clips at all. Perhaps thats of interest to the reenactors out there if no one else ;-{D)
