Hi everyone,I am having a little trouble with a shoot-able MK2.the gun cocks and fires but the action does not cycle,is this a problem with the gas regulator ? I AM NOT IN THE UK AT THE MOMENT AND I AM IN A THAILAND WHERE IT IS LEGAL TO OWN A BREN thanks PONGO

Hi Pongo It could be the ammo. Make sure you only use nice fresh stuff. The tropics play hell with ammo in long term storage. To properly set your gas regulator, put it on the #2 setting, load 1 round in the mag and fire. If the action holds open on the mag then the setting is correct. If not go to the next bigger setting and repeat. If you are on #4 and it still won't function then the regulator will have to be removed and the holes cleaned out with the appropriate reamers (as found in the tool pouch). If all the above does not work then it is the ammo.

Hi Rod, Thank you for your help,It must be the ammo!,most of the stuff i have been getting is dated 1916- 1929 and god only knows where it has been kept although it does look in very good condition,303 is not exactly easy to get here as no one seems to shoot it here
