appologies to every one who has been in touch but I've been tied up with less interesting stuff (work), I'm now working through the back log...
Does any one have a example of the brown duck/canvas 6 magazine satchel/bandoleer/bag that has the stores code stamped on? I'm desperate to find information on this item.
The number will probably be prefixed with AA and will be possibly on bags dated 44 or later, certainly no earlier.
If any one has primary source material (LoC, ACI or VAOS) on this item I will be profoundly grateful to see it.

PS also looking for the codes and correct nomlecture for the Bren mag "grab bags" for the Universal carrier (leather/fibre borad) and for the 4 x 30rd 7.62mm magazine bandolleer produced in the 60s.
