Nice pics, of that Ole MKII. I dont know why but I prefer it over the MKI for some reason.

The MKI has its own cool features but I think the MKII just looks all together meaner looking.

Can you explain the pic at all without having to kill me afterwards?

Assembling Bren's? Down on the marshes? Was this a military thing? For a retailer about to make deacts? For a museum?

The picture was taken at Mike Priests (RFD) assembled Brens after the parts had been deactivated.He lives on the marshes along with all the sheep that also reside there ! (he doesn't play the banjo that I'm aware of though ;D)

I understand from trial reports that the single wheel carrier was a bit of a dissaster in the field and was quickly taken out of service

Many claimed it was in itself responsible for the early war debacle leading to the dunkirk
evacuation.
Once again, a prime example of govt cut backs and poor tendering for armoured vehicles .

so many brens so little money. Dying for a MK1m found a really rough one a while ago dont know if he still has it but if he does I think I,m going to pick it up and see if I can fix it up.

I'll post some pics of it if so.

Anyone got some pics of some 7.92 Brens?
