Commercial (DHH) export only L4A3 I aquired at Beltring. Brand new and only test fired ;D Advertisement is from Janes Infantry Weapons 1988/89 - Nice to have an L4 with a wobble free mag !

Its old spec.The spec for LMG's (LMG's are classed as anything with a bipod) never changed.

So you can remove the barrel and strip it normally correct?

No afraid you cannot remove barrel as its pinned to the body.

Ahhh Gotcha. Wasn't there a time way back when that LMG's did have removeable barrels?
I seem to remember an uncle having a Deac Bren that you could remove the barrel and that there was a welded rod right though it?

The museum I work for has some very early deac brens and one of them literally has just the firing pin cut down to deac it. It has all the stamps and certs.
