Vickers-Berthier LMG

I'm looking for just about anything to do with the Vickers-Berthier LMG. I've listed what little I have on the forum.

I am especially interested in finding a Mk III Indian made gun, slings and cleaning kit although any of rhe weapon specific webbing or leather equipment (1934 Patten I believe it was called in Indian service) would also be of interest, as would be the horse and pack animal harness.

The cobbaton collection are having a pre - VCR Bill sale and they list a VB but don't say what mark, maybe of interest to you?
There is also a MkII Daimler Bren

Hi Matt
cheers for the tip off but if its the one he was trying to sell at Beltring this year its a Mk III in not particularly good nick and, wait for it, he was asking £1,750.

My Model 1928-1929 was £350 4 years back
the old spec 1925-1926 was 400 a few weeks back and the hybrid Mk I/II bitsa was £600 at about the same time.

They made far more of the MK III and there's still warehouses full of them as part of Indias militia/police reserve I'm told.

Magazines tend to be 10 to 15 quid a pop here, butt monopods 10 quid.
