Tim,
I've been looking for the parts to convert a MK II to L4 configuration but unfortunately I live in the United States.
I know the receiver and barrel are a no go as far as importing to the US but are there any restrictions under the British laws for importing to the US the other L4 parts neeeded to convert the MKII (extractor, ejector, front sight parts, etc.)?
Or do you know any source for the conversion parts? Thanks in advance.
Please send me a reply at tailpipe_cct@yahoo.com

The L4 front sight is a recycled Mk2/3 sight block, along with the gas block, the gas piston assembly, the rear sight ( Graduations milled off and new ones applied).
Do you have a Mk3 to base your conversion on? If not, and its a mk2 you have, you would be better off converting to L4A3 spec, which was based on the mk2.
Also do you intend to shoot semi auto or use it as a Dewat (or whatever there called in the US). I ask as there are also internal body modifications required for the conversion.
