That is a neat bit of work. It is sad that you have to do it, but neat nonetheless.

Now I do like that! Just the job for early holdalls and Battalion Spares Boxes.
Any idea if he intends to do pistons and stems eventually?

Shame theres no demand for M1919A4 blocks to go in the Case, Spare Bolt, M2 as I'd go for one!

Hi Tom I have a plentifull supply of M1 and Mk2 BREN gas-pistons/stems. I can have them slotted, sectioned or buggered up in any other way required to make them legal over there. Any use to you?

Hi again Tom
We have used the 1919A4 here since WW2 - nowadays in 7.62mm for co-axial and AA on armoured vehicles. No longer as an infantry ground gun.
Spares and accessories are in short supply in the civilian market but let me know what you are after and I will see what I can do.

Hi Peter I better check whats legal to bring in before I do a wish list, thanks. M1919/L3 bits are pretty rare over here as well. Infact I'm told it was the lack of spares that caused the army to with draw its L3s and chop them.
Its a bit of a bugger since I was hoping to find a fresh from FTR L3A4.
All the best
Tom
PS to anyone out there in the UK I'd swap the ZB26 and bits for a nice shiny new L3A4

YAY Kev. How much is UK postage cos I can see something I want for my Battalion Spares Box. All I need to do is check how many I should have in the Box! [yikes] I know this is rubbing it in because Tom sent me the contents list, but bloody good luck finding a box Tom, if I hear or see of one I shall let you know old chap. Many thanks Matt Gibbs
