I am looking for a complete set of engineering drawings for a BREN MK II receiver. I want to make my own receiver in a SEMI-AUTOMATIC version for use in the US. My shop is fully CNC and I am both a degreed Mechanical Engineer and a Journeyman TOOL & DIE MAKER. Can anyone out there point me in the right directions. I know it might cost me and I will pay for the drawings. Eugene N. NEIGOFF MFGGURU@COX.NET

I read an article about most requested web searches and believe it or not "Bren Blueprints" is very high on the list. Of all the weird things people search for throughout the world this was in the top 50 or so. I think there are no Bren blueprints, unlike a large number of other weapons.
You might need to purchase a cut receiver, and following some of the existing instructions for welding it back together; either create your own drawings, or live with the results of your handiwork. Regards.

Oh there are blueprints alright, I've examined the ones at the Pattern Room (now part of thr Royal Armories Leeds library) but they won't let any private person copy them due to concerns about litigation should they then be used to commit a crime such as manufacturing a automatic weapon in acountry/state where that is illegal.
Since I never wanted to copy drawings of presure bearing parts they let me copy what I liked, and for free when the MoD ran things but stuff like that, no chance.
I vaguely recollect that H&K own all the originals or something, after all the various buy outs, and they are in turn owned by?...
Sorry thats no help is it. I've no idea who has the Aussie and Canadian done ones, let alone the Indian ones.
