Just scored a Mk II* 7.92mm Besa at Beltring for £400, without my notes to hand it seems right, tapering barrel shroud, serials matching, cut out in top plate, squeeze safety thingy on back of pistol grip and selector handle on left rear of body. will have a good look when we get home on Monday and do some photos.

PS just had a look inside, nice and clean, fitted with cut down firing pin and extractor and the accelorator (sp?) is fitted and operates when the leaver is used.

When Ryton Arms purchased their batch of guns during the late 1980's early1990's there was such little interest I believe they ended up scraping most of the guns.
I purchased one from them for my Humber A/C for £150.00.
You certainly won't find one for that price now.

Aye only 4 years back or so I got my Mk 3* for 225, or was it 250?, anyway it was a lot of metal for the money. I suspect that in the various warehouses theres lots of the accesories I want like the case shutes and the bl**dy brushes but a general lack of interest means no ones dug them out yet.
Would anybody be interested in seeing the photos of Besa variants I did at the old Pattern Room?
Personally I'd be really interested to see pics of the Mk 3 and 4 belts.

Tom From recent sales I know about there has been a increase in interest in the last year or so

A guy in 43rd Recce LHG who Richard knows has purchased all the known available spares in the UK and is in the process of having two guns rebuilt for blank firing purposes at shows we attend.
Unfortunately there is not the demand in the UK to encourage dealers to buy any more guns or spare parts.

What became of that project? Finally have my HAC moving about and fitting a BESA Gas conversion. We have two IMA parts kits available to fix as a blank fire device if can get the design blessed by our BATF here.
