In writing my book on the first ten years of my Vickers collection, I have got a bit sentimental about my first gun, B 1916, which I sold to help finance the expansion of the collection.
If anybody ever hears of this gun coming up for sale (preferably with tripod 9081) then I would dearly like to get it back. I sold it for £450 inc. waterjacket cover, transit chests and a No. 8 belt box and belt but I am sure I would have to pay more that that to get it back!!
