My barrel mouthpiece likes to gradually come unscrewed while firing, is there a locking washer that's supposed to be behind this, or was this normal? I know with the maxims you have to occasionally tighten the boosters, but this is a little hard to get to? Anyone else shoot Lewis guns on here?  |

The mouthpiece does need to be screwed up tight on the Lewis. There is no washer provided to go between the barrel and the mouthpiece. I find that a drop of standard grade Loctite helps keep the mouthpiece in place yet it can still be removed when required. I can't find any reference yet (I am still looking) for the Barrel Packing Washer. It is definitely not the gas collar that goes around the barrel.
