The Vickers .5-inch was predominantly a heavy machine gun for use within armoured vehicles. I am currently updating the .5-inch page of my website and would like to make mention of all the tanks that were armed with the Vickers .5-inch. If you know of any could you please post them here?
In addition to this, the .5-inch Mk. V is mentioned quite significantly within the Vocabulary of Army Ordnance Stores for AFV MGs in 1944. What Armoured Fighting Vehicles were using the weapon this late on in the war?
Many thanks,
Richard

Richard: The .50 Vickers saw a lot of use with the Navy. The Canadian Navy used a number of the .50's on Corvetts and other small vessels used in convoy duty. I've seen a number of pictures of them in use in the Royal Navy as well. Cheers, Warren
