the information about this weapon is erroneous in the main text.
this weapon was highly unpopular with the Roiyal navy. It was inaccurate and cumbersome. It was out of sevice with front line vessels by 1943, being replaced by the superior, much less complex 20mm oerlikopn
the main text also uses the term 'calibre' incorrectly, the proper term is 'bore'
