OK folks anyone ever heard of the Airborne troops Sten Backplate Webbing Holder?
How was it used?

Hi Matt
I take that you are talking about the web pouch that attaches to the bayonet frog for the Mk5 Sten? If so then it contains a butt plate that is fastened to the Mk5 instead of the butt itself whilst the Sten is carried in the parachute harness.

Isnt there also a small webb device that holds the Mk2 pistol grip on the belt while the butt is fitted to the gun, and vice versa when the pistol grip is used?
