Hi Guys
I have just obtained an Armourers Tool, Tester Friction (magazine), Ref 14A/731, complete in its wooden case. The whole lot is Air Ministry marked with a Kings Crown so it is pre 1953. Does anyone know what it is for? I suspect it may be for a drum mag for a 20mm cannon but am not sure. I would also like to know the method of use. I will send Kev a couple pictures and prevail upon him to put them up. ;D

I do have documentation on the camera if you need. Regards, Tony Adelaide, Australia

It all makes sense now, as the effort required to activate the tool seemed way to low for a conventional firearm magazine.
