Sorry to post a non-MG want, but I thought I might stand a good chance with the group here.
I am looking for the proper War Department marked rear mount/Adjusting drum assembly for the Winchester A5 scope on my 1916 SMLE No.1 MkIII Sniper Rifle.
The one shown in the pic is incorrect, the proper one being broad arrow marked and having a tension spring and taller side marked windage and elevation drums.
Will either pay cash/PMO or payment and the swap of the mount shown.
The correct mount is shown in The Lee Enfield Story on pages 151/453, and in Clive Law's book, "Without Warning"
