OK, I know this is an old thread......but I just found it........
I've been interested in the Welrod for a long time, and interested enough to have obtained the info available from the U.S. Gov't archives on it. I like to be in touch with they guys who've posted here, and have sent 1 PM and 2 emails which so far have not been responded to.
Cheers.

For those interested in such arcane devices, I am pleased to report that I am almost fully tooled up and manufacture of Mk IIA Welrods is underway. They will be available as live guns for those fortunate few who may own them, and as non-firing replicas for the rest. ;D
My apologies for the time this project has taken but my 10 years worth of research, making the working drawings (NOT for sale so please don't ask), and all the tooling and fixtures, will result in a first-class authentic reproduction.
Any queries will be answered via PM.

Hello folks Don't know if this is of interest. I have a Welrod Magazine for sale - aquired from an SOE collector in Sweden, not really got an idea of the value, but open to offers. Regards Matt

Hi Matt
Is it the .32ACP or the 9mm model? They both look similar with the rubber cover attached but the 9mm is noticeably bigger. Could you post the dimensions of the width and depth (front to back) of the top of the mag. I would be very keen if it is the larger one. ;D

Interestingly, Webley & Scott made .32 calibre mags for the Welrod, which were then delivered to BSA. The mag is a copy of the Colt .32 auto mag, not a vertion of Webleys own .32 auto magazine.

Hi Alan
I had heard of the possibility that W&S mags were used, but all the guns I have seen appeared to have Colt mags. Your latest snippet is very interesting and would satisfy both schools of thought! ;D Where did that info come from?
