Matt,
A couple of questions -
Are the ammunition belts the brass strip type or the cloth-only type? Is the whole of the water hose a repro (including the attachment) or just the hose? What colour is the hose, red or black?
Cheers,
Rich

Rich The hose is black, it is one of the repros from the chap who sometimes advertises stuff on the Bren Forum, before he puts it on their website - an easy way of finding interested customers - but I cannot recall their name. I can get the names off the belts if you like. I recall that 3 are metal strip type and one is not. But my memory is not perfect on these with out looking. I was told they are a rare maker, but I only recall the markings had a fleur de lys on, made me think it was for a Boy Scouts Machine Gun team!

MachineGunNest is the company. I will have a think about it.
I am looking for non-strip type belts at the moment because of a display we are putting on next year but if the belts are anything different then I may be interested.
Cheers,
Rich

Rich, have you tried Witham for belts? I picked up 4 1945 dated ones for £3 each at Beltring ;D

Hiya Yes thats fine Rich, all I want is a reasonable offer, they will have to go soon, as we are moving a load of stuff in the outbuildings and I don't want them to get damp or damaged! Kind regards Matt Gibbs

Hi Matt,
Sorry for not getting back to you earlier. I am probably going to have to pass up these items as I really need to be saving rather than spending at the moment. If I come into some money, I will give you a shout.
Cheers,
Rich

If you still have the brass strip type belts for sale, I would like to buy them, please let me know if you still have them?
