Finally managed to score a couple of Vickers-Berthier LMG slings today, both nicely marked "ME Co. 1931".
I'll post pics and details when I can down load the camera. Currently they are soaking in my patent webbing cleaning mixture (strong washing up liquid solution) but they look like they will clean up rather well.
These are the first I've come across outside of a factory handbook. Does anyone else have them or the dedicated 1 V-B mag each basic pouches or even the V-B mag haversack?
