Have a friend in the USA that isn't computer savvy and he has asked me to post that he has a few spare Boys A/T items that could be available.
Combo Socket Tool Wrench Sectioned Cleaning Kit Rod w/Cord and swag Double Sized Pull-Throughs with new wire gauze Magazine Chest Action Cover Muzzle Cover (round break, not rectangular) Few '39 dated striper clips and lastly, five War dated live rounds and five war dated empty cases.
Most of these can be seen in Weapons of the WWII Tommy as I borrowed them from him for photos in the Boys chapter of the book. He said he is open to offers and prefers to sell everything at once but knows most people wouldn't need or want everything.
Questions or need to see photos, shoot me an eMail and I'll play messenger.

I may have a friend interested in these that is currently in the process of buying a Boys from Australia. I will ring him this evening and let him know what you have.
I, however, am interested in the cleaning rod and pullthrough as these were the same as used for the .5-inch Vickers so please could you let him know the interest and possibly find prices of the whole lot (as a lot of it looks like stuff my friend doesn't have).
Chat soon,
Richard

Already was in the process of having him get photos since I knew anyone with an interest would want to see them. Should get them in a day or two and I'll post a link to them here at that time. He was wanting to sell through eBay but I wanted him to hold off and see if anyone in the "family" might need them. Not like he has a choice since he can't list them on eBay without help.
And he does have a spare round brake but he doesn't want to sell it. His rifle has the later rectangle style which he prefers for shooting but he wants to keep the round one for display. (sorry)

More details, no pictures yet There are two muzzle covers, one of each type but both are Canadian marked. Webbing appears British colour though. There are several unused double length pull-throughs and there are three of the wire gauze pieces. The action cover is British as are the bandoleers. Markings on the following items for reference: Socket combo tool "Rifle Boys Mk I" Spanner "Rifle Boys Mk I * FW" Cleaning Rod (with removable brush, not swag) "Fuller" Two Stripper Clips "MS I 1939" Four empty cases "K.39 W.I" One empty case "K.40 W.I" Five Live Rounds "K.39 W.I" All Rounds with Green Colour (Armour Piercing) Annulus Magazine Chest "Box, Magazines, Rifle, Roys, Mk I" with maker mark "<M-H> and Canadian Broad Arrow C/|\ Action Cover "MECo 1940 /|\" Muzzle Cover (Rectangular Type) C/|\ with unclear maker and no visible date Muzzle Cover (Round Type) C/|\ with 1943 date and maker name of something & something Ltd. Bandoleer "P.B. & Co. Ltd. 11-1938 Mark I" Bandoleer "L.J.D. & S. Ltd. Mk I 43"

(sorry) Its the same story world over, no one has a spare mk1 brake, I've got the mk2 but I would prefer the mk1. Could you ask him to keep an eye out for me!! Cheers.

Hey Tom,
I wasn't familiar with the rectangular cover either when I did the Boys chapter in the weapons book. The brass in the photo I posted makes it look black like the post war webbing but it is just a bad shot. The brass is normal wartime finish just like the other one.
The sectional cleaning rod fits into the long side pocket of the action cover. Would guess the pull through and/or an oiler would go into the little square pocket. Never have seen a chart showing everything laid out as with the Bren barrel carrier and wallet.

All of the Boys A/T gear has been sold.
The live .55 ammo, empty cases, pair of stripper clips and pair of bandoleers are all that is left. These are $150 for the lot if anyone is interested. Ammo can potentially be demilled but I haven't located a bullet puller yet that will handle anything bigger than .455 so far.
