This is a pet project of mine and directly relates to the L1A1/C1/FAL/M14/ and the L8 series of Enfield rifles. I was reading a topic about Bren Mk.1 combo tools and people were asking about the various makers, this got me to thinking about the stripper clips. I've spent about 10 years or more collecting the chargers, at first it was simply to have some to use and put into Bandoleers but as often happens with collecting you start researching and during a quiet period in collecting I started to look at what I had and found a myriad of different markings on the clips. This intrigued me and I wanted to know who the clips were made by and which country they had come from. Unfortunately there is very little or no information available at the time about post war makers of anything. I tried a number of web boards and asked if anyone knew who the makers were without success until one day I finally bit the bullet and finally used the 'homepage' space my internet provider gave me and slowly created a web page. This is the result homepages.ihug.co.nz/~kevin_a/On here you will find information about the Stripper clips including the British Mk.1, Mk. 2 and Mk. 3 Chargers, Bandoleers, Magazine Charging Adaptors and Ammo cans. Have a look hopefully it will be answer any questions you have about your own stripper clips/chargers.

Thanx Craig, Well part of the improvement is due to you too as you sent me some clips that helped fill in some of the gaps in the Canadian section.
