Old spec slr

I've got an old spec L1a1 with plastic grips that I'm looking to get rid of.

I got it as a trade in. Some idiot has ground off the serial number and I don't have a cert for it (Not a legal necessity) hence the low price.

I'm after £450 for it.

A lost deact cert is not a problem, but if I was offered a deact with no cert and the serial number ground off, I would be concerned that it might be stolen and would ask questions as to why it was like that. Did the person that p-exed it offer you any explanation?
