Well. I recently acquired a 2 inch mortar. I am now looking for accessories to complete the kit. I am also looking for all the manuals and repair drawings that go with it as well.

Not got any originol manuals spare but if you just want the info I have the following scanned in.
BAOR Armourers Precis circa 1950 Armourers Precis 1943 (covers all mortars) 2" OML handbook 1960 Illustrated Parts List 2" OML Mk II* 1940 Australian IPL for 2" OML Mk II and 4.2" OML SB 1945 Illustrated Parts List 2" OML 1949 Illustrated Parts List 2" OML 1963 Inspection Standards for OML 2 inch all marks SAT No. 8 2" mortar 1939 The Light Mortar 1966
The only DD(E) I have relating to the 2" is the one for the insides of the chest and hinges/fittings and the ones for the early (Bren rod) cleaning brushes.

Hi Craig A.B.L. is the ownership mark for the Belgium Army. i'm hopeless at languages so someone will have to tell you the precise meaning but bacause of the two languages used in Belgium (French and Walloon?) it translates to "Army" in one language "Belgium" "Army" in the other language.
A hell of a lot of 2" mortars are ex Belgium, some new made by them (or at least refurbished with lots of Belgium marked parts, others like mine, entirely UK made with crows feet all over them but with "ABL" 51 lightly engraved on the lower barrel. I've always assumed the 51 refered to the calibre in MM rather than the year.
