With the thousands of Colt Vickers that the US had in .30/06, surly some made it into combat. What units might have taken the US Vickers into battle?

I think there are some Great War shots that show the usage of the Vickers and certainly plenty of the US manuals mention them; however, I can't find the Great War shots at the moment and that would only confirm their use but not identify the units!
I seem to recall that I have read recently (or perhaps watched on the TV) details of how some US Divisions were equipped with British / French weapons and equipment to enable them to join the Great War as early as possible; therefore, whether any US M1915 actually saw action may depend on when the units were issued with them and where those units were deployed.
