I'm in Canada. I have a dewat Lithgow 1942 MK1, serial # A3818, with matching transit case. Owned it for years. I believe it was imported by Coastal Arms sometime around 94-96.
Gun is in mint condition and deactivation is very clean. No visible welds, dry fires, and has removeable (welded follower) mag.
After renovation will be bolted to wall above fireplace.
Cheers

I should clarify that the above (A3818) gun does not have the double dovetail groove, so I guess its a MK1m, although receiver marking just says MK1. Also, the gun seems to have been arsenal refinished in '52 with a different numbered barrel that has been restamped to match the gun. Given the condition of the gun, it doesn't appear that it was used after it was refinished.
cheers

Another D/D Enfield 1938 Mk 1 (A2086) has surfaced here. Live of couse but with a mismatched Enfield 1941 barrel. It has a JI butt strap and an early BSA butt handle It is a composite casing with a spare 1942 barrel and the usual accessories. It comes up for auction at the end of October so it will be interesting to see what it fetches.
