How embarrasing, I didn;t look closely at the mag but yes, that is a K gun mag.

The pictures are of a Vickers K mag (a nice example) and a Lewis drum pouch (also a nice example). Although similar in appearance, the K mag will not fit the Bren.

gerolykos looks like you can now participate in the Lewis and Vickers forums now aswell As Rod has said the mag will unfortunatly not fit a Bren as for one the feed mouth is to short. I'm sure if you want to get shot of it one of the Vickers mob will make you an offer (they are the ones with the money ;D ) If not the search is on for a K gun !

well I have only one thing to say but if I say it I will be banned, @@@@@. I am a Bren lover not Lewis or Vickers. The pouch has a stamp on it, 1941 if I am right. Some years ago I was offered the set (Vickers) for only £150 but I didnt got it as I wasnt interested, it was stupid, Iknow. Anyway, I am after a Bren drum mag with the adaptor, iI think I am going to try to do an exchange, do you think is possible? How much my mag costs? Thank you guys. (I have got two of them.)

Could have been, those chaps were possibly responsible for the emptying of that old Nepalese armoury, which is where all the .577 Martini Henrys seem to be coming from at the mo..? Not to say Mk2 and 3 Stens etc. Cheers Matt

Vickers and Lewis guns came from the Nepalese cache but no Bren stuff.
IMA had chests of drum mags a long time before then.
