Hello everybody, I am the proud owner of a recently bought beauty called Bren MKI 1939. Now I am trying to buy all the other stuff to complete the set. I heard about a Bren dtum magazine, is it true? I will confirm that again and I will be back to the forum. Thank you in advance.
By the way, I really liked the post about the covers!!!

Yes, There is a drum magazine for the Bren. It's a 100 round drum and was used when the bren was in an Anti-aircraft role. They came in a box of 4 with a loading tool and a bracket/clip for mounting on the gun. There was also a MkI and MkII models. Not very common and command a good price if you can get 1 let alone a set.

Happy New Year everybody.
I was expecting to get enough info about the drum mag via the forum but it turned out differently. Thats sad as I am not able to find any info about it anywhere else. What will be the price? Can I get an adaptor? Nothing...

Did you try www.ima-usa.com/ as suggested by missingsomething ? The last one I saw being sold individually was £250 without the adaptor plate, and that was a year ago. The last complete set I saw being sold was two years ago, 4 magazines in their box with winder and one adaptor plate, £1200 from a Dutch dealer. You will need to search the internet and ask dealers if they have or know of any for sale. Good luck with your search.

You are going to have to learn to be patient mate Some of us will spend the rest of our lives looking for items we will never find.To be dissapointed that no one on the forum has given you a price and sourced items for you that are not availlable is a bit unreallistic ! To aquire some of the hard to get items you need to start making contacts, scan the internet (hourly ;D) buy publications that carry for sale adds as soon as they hit the shelves,go to all the militaria fairs (at the crack of dawn) and be very lucky
